Farrer & Co are offering a fantastic opportunity for students to gain first-hand insight into the workings of a leading law firm. Taking place during the October half-term, this paid, in-person programme offers a unique chance to explore life at Farrer & Co.
Who can apply?
The work experience programme is open to students who meet the following criteria:
Currently studying A-levels or equivalent qualifications at the time of the programme.
A desire to explore careers in a law firm, either as a solicitor or within business services such as Marketing and BD, HR, IT, or Knowledge, Learning & Development.
Achieved five GCSEs at grades 4–9 (or equivalent points), including Maths and English. Applications with mitigating circumstances for academic results will be considered.
Priority will be given to individuals who have not previously participated in structured work experience at a professional services firm.
The scheme
Participants will:
Attend insightful talks to understand the work of the firm and its teams.
Benefit from a CV workshop, gaining practical tips for future applications.
Complete a research task, working closely with a supervising member of the firm.

Spaces available: five places are offered on the programme.
Selection process: applicants are chosen based solely on their written applications, with no further assessments required.
Allowance: Successful applicants will receive an allowance of £485.58 per week.
