Do you have an interest in green woodworking and carpentry and traditional crafts?


Do you love working outdoors and interacting with people?


Global Generation are looking for three 18-25 year olds to join our build team at the Triangle Site.


As a Build Trainee you will be introduced to and will practically implement heritage crafts such as shake making and cladding, brick making and bricklaying, clay plastering and green woodworking.


BUILD TRAINEE

FOR HERITAGE CONSTRUCTION & CRAFTS TRAINING PROGRAMME



Time commitment 9-5, 3 days a week, (Tues, Weds & Thurs)

4 month role starting end September to end January


This role can either be as a freelancer or on a Global Generation short term contract


Salary £12 per hour


Reporting to Community Build Manager and Community Maker


Requirements Due to funding this role is for ages 18-25 only.

We particularly welcome applications from people of Black, Asian and

minority ethnic heritage to reflect the diverse communities that we work

with and to help us further develop the social and environmental justice

aspects of our work. We will prioritise applications from people who are

not in education, training or employment.
