Book publishing giant Penguin Random House UK are about to open their next window to apply for their 2 week work placement programme. The window will open on 30th August until 11th September at midday for 2-week placements from 2nd October until 8th December 2023.
There will be opportunities available within each of their exciting business areas, which include - Marketing & Publicity, Editorial, Sales and Publishing Operations.

All two hundred and fifty of our work experience trainees across the year are chosen via random-selection and paid the National living wage for the duration of the hybrid placement.
What will I be doing? Explore new viewpoints as you immerse yourself within one of our exciting business areas, perfectly set-up to welcome work experience trainees at the start of their publishing careers.
You’ll learn from and listen to those around you, becoming a part of the team, joining meetings, and trying out new tasks. Opportunities to connect with your department and colleagues from around the business will give you an insight into how we do things.
How do I apply for work experience?
We run cohorts every 3-4 months.
Our next window will be open from 30th August until 11th September at midday for 2-week placements from 2nd October until 8th December.
Our application process is very simple. You just submit an application on our portal letting us know a bit about you, your availability, and which department you’d like to get experience in.
