Experience Hands-On Learning: Immerse yourself in the world of media production, gaining practical experience and insights under the guidance of seasoned professionals.
On-Camera Opportunities: Depending on the programme you choose, you may have the chance to appear on their YouTube channels, showcasing your talents to wider audiences.
Hands-On Experience: Gain practical experience by participating in live on-camera poetry performances, all while receiving constructive feedback to enhance your on-camera acting skills.
Learn: Learn more about the media industry and how to professionally create forms of media.
Work Experience Opportunities:
Acting Work Experience: Through poetry reading/performing, you will aim to delve deeper into the art of acting. By understanding the synergy between the camera and the words of poetry, you will potentially have the opportunity to showcase your talents on their YouTube channel.
Interviewing Work Experience: Become a part of the interview show 'Runabeat Media Interviews' on the Runabeat Music YouTube channel, where you will engage with Music Industry Professionals and Artists themselves - from singers, rappers, and producers. Note that the interviewing work experience goes hand in hand with acting, as previous acting experience is encouraged if you are interested in applying to be an interviewer.
Media Production Work Experience: If you're interested in media production, you will learn about the various areas of assistance needed on a production set, such as Camera Operation, Camera Assistance, Audio Production, and General Production Assistance.
Key Information:
Duration: 4 weeks and takes place on Saturdays between 11:00-17:00.
