Masterclass Trust is recruiting for a Junior Theatre Technician to undertake a 13-week full time paid internship from 20 May to 18 August at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London's West End.
This is an entry level opportunity for someone interested in electrics, woodwork, and/or carpentry. No prior theatre experience is required, but candidates should have skills in at least one of the following categories: woodwork, carpentry, electrics, or sound.
During this internship you will learn and practise the skills needed to pursue a career backstage in theatre. You will gain in experience across many roles backstage, from carpentry to lighting, sound and automation, with the option to focus on whichever skill interests you.
Candidates must:
Be aged 18+
Be available for the full duration of the placement.
Have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the placement.
